For this part-time position, assist head coach with day to day operations of the program; on court coaching responsibilities; off campus and on campus recruiting; use of Front Rush; Synergy film breakdown and scouting report preparation; skill development of players; the Academic Studies program; assist with the basketball camp operations and all other duties as assigned by head coach.

1. Assist head coach with day to day basketball on court coaching.
2. Recruit prospective student athletes on and off campus. Evaluate player talent for recruits.
3. Organize recruiting communications and campus visits.
4. Set up and monitor student athlete academic sessions.
5. Upload game film, breakdown game film and prepare scouting reports (both video and text).
6. Assist with program fundraising.
7. Assist with planning and implementation of summer basketball camps.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

1. COMMUNICATION:

   1. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
   2. Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to maintain team pages.

2. SKILLS:

   1. Playing and/or coaching basketball experience necessary.
   2. Higher level of demonstrated basketball knowledge.

3. EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:

   1. Coaching experience at high school or college level preferred but not necessary with adequate playing experience.

4. EDUCATION:

   1. College degree or equivalent required.

5. LICENSES:

   1. Driver’s license required.
