Assistant Men's Ice Hockey Coach

Position Summary:

For this part-time position, assist head coach with day-to-day operations of the program; assist with all coaching responsibilities; off campus and on campus recruiting; use of Front Rush; skill development of athletes; and all other duties as assigned by head coach.

Albright is an NCAA Division III member institution as well as a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), and the Commonwealth Conference.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist head coach with day to day coaching.
• Recruit prospective student athletes on and off campus. Evaluate athletic talent for recruits.
• Organize recruiting communications and campus visits. 
• Assist with planning and implementation of practices.
• Manage team social media accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

• COMMUNICATION: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• SKILLS: Playing and/or coaching Ice Hockey necessary. 
• EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE: Coaching experience at high school or college level. 
• EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent required.
• LICENSES: Drivers license required. Child clearances required.
