Position Title: Assistant Men’s Ice Hockey Coach / Game Day Site Manager

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend hours for special events. Travel: Up to 3% of work schedule (local Twin Cities metro area, with minimal national and international travel).
Work Location: Hybrid. WFH 1-2 days a week. Will work on campus fully for the first three months.
Salary Range: $43,000-$45,000.

The St. Olaf Athletic Department is in search of a talented and hardworking assistant coach to become a member of a premier Division III men’s hockey program in the country. This position is a full-time role within the athletic department. It requires a flexible work schedule; nights and weekends are necessary, and traveling with teams is required. Game Day Site Manager - expectation is to cover all home games of the sport assigned, with some flexibility around recruiting and non-traditional seasons (if applicable).

Essential Job Duties:
Coaching
Direct, organize, and administer all aspects of the instruction, practice planning, and advisement of the men’s ice hockey program.
Actively recruit qualified student-athletes.
Assist with opponent scouting, film review, and scouting reports. As well as individual/positional film review with current team members.
Support, respect, and commit to embracing diverse backgrounds, values, and points of view to build a strong and inclusive community.
Comply with all NCAA Division III, MIAC, and St. Olaf Bylaws.
Complete and meet deadlines for required training and performance management cycle.
Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic department.
