The Opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for an Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach, part-time. The main role of the assistant coach will be to provide support to athletes and report directly to the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach. This position is located onsite on the main campus in Manchester, NH to support student-athletes. #LI-Onsite

In this role you'll get to:

• You will participate in the leading and execution all coaching responsibilities including the traditional, non-traditional, and off-season activities.
• Promote academics, respect, and desirable life values to the team members.
• Provide input as to the evaluation of the athlete's performance and progress. Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting.
• Help recruit prospective student athletes.
• Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions.

• Help recruit prospective student athletes.
• Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions.
• Bring University Vans to and from practice, games, playoffs, and coach's meetings
• Additional responsibilities can be assigned with discussion between the Head Coach, Director of Athletics and the Assistant Coach

The position, governed by the rules and regulations of the NCAA and of the Southern New Hampshire University, requires working with the Head Coach in all facets of the program. You must develop a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. If you plan to recruit, you must pass the NCAA Certification exam.

Per NCAA rule, a coach who is found in violation of NCAA regulations shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures, including suspension without pay or termination of employment for repetitive violations.

The Assistant Coach may drive the team van to and from contests and pre-season practice or tournaments so a Valid Driver's License is required.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of collegiate college playing or coaching experience.
• Knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, ECAC, and NCAA
• Operator/driver's license: Yes
• Work Hours: Varied to meet business demands.
