DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Soccer Coach--Goalies is responsible for assisting the Head Men’s and Head Women’s Soccer Coaches in administering all aspects of the varsity men’s and women’s soccer programs with an emphasis on coaching goalies.

Essential Functions
Teaching (80%)
Coaching student-athletes in practice and in competition--primarily teaching skills and strategies, providing guidance in physical and mental development, and conveying program values.
Provide academic and appropriate personal guidance.
Recruiting (10%)
- Scout, identify, and communicate with prospective student-athletes and their families.
Administrative (10%)
- General organization, practice planning, travel coordination, etc
Experience and Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of three years of experience in organized, competitive soccer.
Expertise in goalie training and instruction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ability to coach and teach; appropriate knowledge and effective communication/interaction skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collegiate setting with enrolled and prospective students and their families, faculty, administrators, staff, alumni, and the greater College community.
Commitment to professionalism and serving as a positive role model.
