Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Position Summary
The first assistant will support the head coach in all aspects of leadership within the men’s soccer program, taking specific responsibilities within the reserve team program.

Assist the head coach in all responsibilities of the men’s soccer program, including training session preparation and execution, matchday decision-making, film analysis, player identification and recruitment, and implementation of physical, mental, spiritual and physical development curriculum.
Serve as the head coach of the reserve program, leading the team in a 12-match season and implementing same the tactical, developmental, and cultural emphases as the first team.
Complete player evaluations for all reserve team players (1x/year) and assist head coach with first team player evaluations.
Assist the head coach in fundraising efforts, including giving campaigns and camps.
Other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic director.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
A lifestyle in agreement with the .
3+ years of collegiate coaching experience, preferable at the NAIA level or higher.
Collegiate playing experience.
USSF C License or higher.
Experience and strong understanding of integrating discipleship and mentorship into a collegiate program.
Successful experience in identifying and recruiting top quality players, both internationally and domestically.
Strong organizational skills in terms of scheduling, session planning, following recruitment processes, and other operational tasks.
