Allegheny College, a selective national liberal arts college, invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. The position is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Head Men’s Soccer Coach. Salary range begins at $26,500 annually.
Apply NowA Bachelor’s degree is required; however a master’s degree is preferred. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive men’s soccer program, identification, recruitment, and retention of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; managing recruit databases and outreach, organizing soccer camps on campus (ID/youth camps), preparation for match-day, assisting with the administrative process for team travel, public/alumni relations, managing team social media pages, and secondary duties as assigned by the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
The successful candidate should understand the Division III philosophy and thrive in an extremely motivated and team oriented atmosphere. Experience necessary includes 4 years of play at NCAA or NAIA level, have 1 to 3 years of coaching experience or equivalent, and display a strong commitment to College, PAC, and NCAA rules and regulations. Event management and summer facility responsibilities will also be assigned by the Athletic Director along with other secondary duties as assigned.
