We are currently seeking a full-time and onsite Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach for athletics department. This position assists in the development and promotion of PFW’s competitive NCAA Division I men’s soccer program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with athlete recruitment.
• Assist with the running of practices and practice content.
• Assist with the oversight and monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes.
• Assist with scheduling contests, travel arrangements and ordering equipment and supplies.
• Provide periodic administrative assistance.
• Evaluate and formulate department policies and procedures.
• Create and foster an environment that promotes the overall health and welfare of student-athletes.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license and must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years of experience at the Division I level.
• Working knowledge of NCAA DI rules, fundamentals, techniques, and rules of sport.
• Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders, including the general public.
• Ability to assist with recruitment under highly selective academic and athletic standards.
• Ability to assess athletic skills and instruct athletes in techniques of sport.
• Ability to develop game strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree.
• Successful playing or coaching at the collegiate level, experience at the Division I level.
• Ability to use survey software and knowledge of web accessibility requirements.
• Recruiting experience.
