The University of Lynchburg, located in central Virginia, is accepting applications for an assistant coach for men's volleyball. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head men’s volleyball coach and will be responsible for assisting with leadership to the men's volleyball program, recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling and team travel, budget management, and equipment purchases. The candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic integrity and mission of the University, compliance with NCAA, conference, and University regulations. Other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. This is a full-time 12 month position. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution Successful volleyball
Coaching experience is required. Strong interpersonal and communications skills; demonstrated organizational and management ability. The successful candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
