Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month assistant coach in its intercollegiate men’s and women’s golf program.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Recruitment of potential student-athletes, practice and tournament planning, and assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program.

• Supervision of the golf strength and conditioning program

• Home event management and other assigned administrative duties, as well as teaching in the physical education program.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred

• 2-3 years of collegiate coaching experience or the equivalent coaching/teaching as a PGA or LPGA golf professional and/or instructor

• A proven history of competitive tournament play is preferred, but not required

• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
