JOB SUMMARY:

Greensboro College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach. This is a part-time
position with opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities. The successful candidate will
assist the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in all aspects of operating a competitive NCAA men's lacrosse program
and demonstrate a strong commitment to student-athlete development, recruiting, and the mission of collegiate
athletics.

Greensboro College is a private liberal arts institution located in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, serving
approximately 1,000 students. The College is a member of the USA South Athletic Conference.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Operations

• Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of managing and operating the men's lacrosse program.

• Develop and implement practice plans, drills, offensive and defensive schemes, and game strategies.

• Assist with opponent scouting, film breakdown, and game preparation.

• Coordinate and help develop youth camps and clinics.

• Assist with gameday and event operations in collaboration with athletic department staff.

• Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.

• Manage the men's lacrosse equipment inventory and distribution.

• Assist with team travel planning and logistics.

Recruiting

• Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes

• Travel to high school games, showcases, and tournaments throughout the recruiting calendar.

• Assist with maintaining recruiting databases and coordinating recruiting efforts with the Admissions Office.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with athletic department game management responsibilities during the lacrosse offseason.

• Support the management and growth of the men's lacrosse social media presence.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Department

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required

• One to three years of lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• A genuine desire to build a long-term career in collegiate coaching and athletic

• Demonstrated commitment to the development of student athletes both on and off the field.
