Assistant Rowing Coach
The position is responsible for providing coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach of Women's Rowing. Primary duties include but are not limited to: coaching student-athletes at both practice and at races, travel with the team to all away events, media relations as well as assisting the head and assistant coach with; on and off campus recruiting, operations, budget, travel and equipment maintenance.
Run daily practices, responsible for coaching 4s and or 3v8
Recruit and manage walk-on athletes, run try outs, select and coach walk on group. Work with AT and compliance to ensure clearance of SAs.
Assist with recruiting, phone calls, emails, official visits, scouting
Assist with equipment upkeep and repairs
Manage team gear ordering, distribution, selection, and organization.

The Assistant Coach must be committed to the academic and athletic development and success of all student-athletes within the program.

Requirements
*Bachelor's degree
*4 Years rowing or coxing at the Collegiate level. 1-2 Years coaching collegiately preferred. extensive knowledge of sport and skills required.
*Strong organizational/communication skills, ability to work within a team structure
*Two years of collegiate or four years high school rowing coaching experience
*Demonstrate proven ability to teach effective rowing
*Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC and Institutional rules
