Serve as the Main Contact: Act as the primary communication link for assigned athletic teams, fostering positive relationships and ensuring effective communication.
Game-Day Support: Be on the front lines during home football games and community service events, providing crucial game-day support.
Statistics Management: Oversee the accurate compilation of statistics for home competitions, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Event Operations Supervision: Manage event operations, including scoreboard management, public announcements, and coordination of the statistics crew.
Social Media Management: Create engaging content for and oversee all department and team social media accounts, enhancing our online presence.
Roster and Biography Management: Maintain team rosters and write compelling student-athlete biographies.
Content Creation: Write game and season previews, game recaps, and award announcements to highlight our athletes' achievements.
Award Nominations: Submit Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week nominations, showcasing the talents of our athletes.
Website Management: Keep website pages for assigned sports up-to-date, ensuring that fans and recruits have the latest information.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Sport Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is recommended.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a sports communications office is preferred.

Education:
Experience:
Sports Communications Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a sports communications office is preferred.
Information Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate information accurately.
Multi-Tasking Skills: Ability to multi-task, plan, organize, and execute day-to-day operations; work under deadlines while maintaining a detail-oriented approach to each task.
Prioritization and Delegation: Ability to prioritize and delegate the flow of work daily.
Computer Competency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe desktop publishing products (InDesign, Photoshop).
Statistics Software Competency: Experience using StatCrew statistics software.
Initiative and Organization: Ability to take initiative in organizing and planning events, preparing materials, and interacting effectively with department and campus community members.
Supervision Experience: Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and ability in supervising, advising, training, and evaluating student employees, volunteers, and interns.
Communication Skills: Effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write, edit, and prepare documents efficiently.
Teamwork and Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
