Job Description:
Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Coach, Sports Performance - Olympic Sports / Education Support Specialist II (T0028). As an Assistant Sports Performance Coach for Olympic sports, you will play a key role in an elite Division I department that prioritizes the student-athlete experience. This position offers valuable on- and off-field professional development designed to prepare you for future growth opportunities. Primary responsibilities include the design, implementation, and scheduling of sport-specific strength and conditioning programs for 3-5 assigned teams, as determined by the Director of Sports Performance.
This position is located in Farmville, Virginia, and is required to work in person on Longwood University's campus.

This is a part-time, temporary wage, non-exempt position in pay band 3, limited to an average of 29 hours per week and 1,500 hours maximum per work year. Commonwealth of Virginia benefits do not accompany this position. A successful fingerprint-based criminal background investigation is required.
