), is seeking to fill a full-time, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach position within the Athletic Department.
Trinity sponsors 30 varsity teams and supports over 700 varsity student-athletes. Trinity College seeks a staff that reflects the changing demographics of our student body. Responsibilities:
Assisting the head strength & conditioning coach in the development and implementation of workout programs for 30 varsity teams.
Duties will focus on providing and ensuring a safe training environment while directly overseeing training programs for specific teams.
Knowledge of and adherence to
NESCAC
and
NCAA
rules, practice planning and execution, teaching responsibilities and mentoring student-athletes.
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will be expected to help promote and facilitate the College and Athletic Department’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
This position also requires both early morning and weekend availability throughout the academic year.
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field required.
Master’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
Qualified candidates must be a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (
CSCS
) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (
NSCA
) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (
SCCC
) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa).
At least one year of experience working as a strength and conditioning coach.
Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and customer service skills.
