The primary objectives of the program development will include a focus in enhancing performance, injury prevention, and injury recovery programs. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: instruction of proper techniques, physical performance evaluating and testing, managing, scheduling, maintenance, and upkeep of weight room facility, adhering to all rules regulations of the University, NCAA, and applicable conference.

The individual will be responsible for programming, weight room upkeep, performance testing, injury prevention, and other administrative tasks necessary for job completion.
Applicants should have some work experience with ice hockey for success in this role. The Sports Performance Department is looking for hard working, and self motivated individuals to serve our student athletes. Great communication skills are needed to succeed in this position; including communicating with coaches, athletes, and athletic trainers.

Position Details:
This is a full-time, 10.5 month, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on theUA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
