Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Certification/License: CPR trained; Current certification by National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (SCSC) or by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) as Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or the ability to obtain appropriate certification within six (6) months of hire date.
Other: Northwest Missouri State University employees are expected to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University, the NCAA and the MIAA Conference.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work hours will be random and flexible according to the needs of the athletic program; Nights, weekends, and holidays will be required as necessary. This position must purchase and maintain a cellular device and service that will be used for work functions. This position must be responsible for plan choices, calling areas, service features, terminations clauses, and paying for all charges associated with the cellular device and service.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of graduate assistant strength & conditioning coaches and interns
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED: Athletic training supplies and equipment
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Manual labor on a daily basis with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds
