Job Description

This position reports directly to the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for Football and isresponsible for providing coaching and administrative assistance in the daily operation of the Football Strength & Conditioning program.

Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily operation of the Football Strength & Conditioning program, including the development of all player training programs.
  • Perform designated practice responsibilities.
  • Assist with Catapult as requested.
  • Coordinate speed training and conditioning drills/workouts.
  • Be able to understand, explain and demonstrate all exercises and drills in the program.
  • Serve as a liaison from Football Strength & Conditioning to assigned support areas.
  • Coordinate weight room maintenance as needed.
