| Position Summary |
Assist the Director of Strength & Conditioning in managing all areas of the program and assist with supervising 16000 sq. ft. weight room, interns, graduate assistants and hourly staff. Design, implement, and monitor sport specific weight training and conditioning programs for football. Provide instruction in proper lifting techniques; monitor progress of athletes through computer charting and analysis of daily training; counsel athletes in dietary habits. The candidate will have knowledge of NCAA and/or SEC rules and agree to adhere to same.

Ability to program, implement and monitor sport specific weight training and conditioning programs for assigned sports.; monitor progress of athletes through computer charting and analysis of daily training; counsel athletes in dietary habits.
Ability to communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels. The noise level during practice and sporting events can reach a high decibel level. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, and peripheral vision.
