The Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics (PERA) Department is seeking an individual with experience working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will by their teaching, coaching, administrative, professional skills, leadership and service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. PERA is currently accepting applications for a part-time, non-benefits eligible, .40 FTE Assistant Coach of Swimming.
Responsibilities : Assist the head coach in the coaching, organization, and administration of the program; including but not limited to practice and meet preparation, practice and meet coaching, and input on meet line-ups. There will be significant involvement with recruiting, organizing and running clinics and swim lessons, and video and meet analysis.
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Salary: $12,372
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree is required but a master’s degree is preferred.
One to two years college, club, or masters coaching experience is preferred.
Lifeguard certification (including current CPR, AED, and First Aid), LGT Instructor/Trainer certification preferred.
Knowledge of Hy-Tech Meet Manager, Colorado System 6, E-Dive, and Display Link preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clearance to drive College vehicles required.
CPR/AED/First Aid certification required upon hire.
