Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a temporary Assistant Tennis Coach.

THE POSITION

The Assistant Tennis Coach reports to the Head Women’s Tennis Coach and carries responsibility for all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s tennis program. In this role, supporting and assisting the tennis team in all areas are key to developing a competitive and successful program in support of the College’s scholar-athlete approach to collegiate athletics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with all aspects of training, hitting sessions, home and away matches, goal setting, and other individual player development needs.

• Collaborate with strength and conditioning and athletic training to prepare scholar-athlete for peak performance.

• Provide coaching during matches.

• Support scholar-athletes in their pursuit of balancing their academic and athletic priorities.

• Assist in all areas of recruiting qualified scholar-athletes.

Traditional Spring Season: 24 hours/week, for 6 weeks (mid March through the end of April).

PAY RATE

$1800

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience on high school or college level.
• Exceptional communication skills.
