The University is currently seeking a qualified individual to assume the role of Assistant to the Director of Athletics in the Athletics Department. This is full-time, benefit eligible, position with approximately 40 hours per week. This position assists the director of athletics with supervision and administration of athletics operations and facilities within the framework of Clarke University, conference affiliations, and the NAIA. The Assistant manages the athletics office and is responsible for business operations support including record keeping, clerical responsibilities, supervision of student office employees, and miscellaneous office duties.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is required, experience in intercollegiate athletics and a master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to interact with a variety of departments, students, parents, faculty and staff in a positive manner is critical. The candidate must have strong organizational skills with a desire to work independently. Experience with databases is preferred.
