Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Men’s & Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field program, including but not limited to coaching, recruiting, fundraising, social media, camps, academic progress, and any other duties as assigned. Start date: August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
Assist in recruitment of quality student athletes including but not limited to: off-campus evaluation, contacts, organization of on-campus visits, and tryouts.
Work with the Head Coach in development and implementation of Throws training program, including strength and conditioning
Attend and instruct during all competitions, practices, strength and conditioning sessions, and individual workouts.
4. Organize and execute all academic monitoring of all XC/TF student-athletes, including study hall and grade checks.
5. Maintain a good working relationship with all athletic coaches and staff regarding facility use and condition.
6. Other duties assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletic Director.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Previous experience as a coach or athlete at the collegiate level.
Skills in graphic design and/or social media or marketing.
Ability to lift objects of 50-lb. or more; frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
