Job Description Summary
Support and assist the head coach as needed to ensure the success of the team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the head coach with team practices (specifically riding with the men's teams during cycling practices) and competitions. Assist with the planning, organizing, and implementing team practices. Assist with the completion of all necessary league eligibility forms, rosters, and coaching materials. Assist in recruitment efforts. Assist with team needs as assigned by the head coach. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Four-year college degree, 1+ years coaching at the high school or collegiate level. Strong leadership experience is required. Well-developed communication skills. Current coaching certifications and/or licenses with the respective governing body is required.
