Performs responsible work in the development of teams and individual athletes for sports competition in the Intercollegiate Athletics Department under direct supervision of a head coach.

Major/Essential Functions
The Assistant Volleyball Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of managing and developing Texas Tech University’s competitive women’s volleyball program. The role involves recruiting, coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence on and off the court. This individual will also work collaboratively within the athletics department to promote a positive student-athlete experience that aligns with Texas Tech’s values and goals.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 1 to 2 years of experience in a responsible coaching position in specifically related sports area. Competitive playing experience and/or coaching experience may exchange for education on a year for year basis.
