in all coaching duties of Indoor and Beach Volleyball. Perform other duties and
responsibilities as may be assigned or directed by Head Coach or Athletic Director.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential Job Functions

Assist the head coach with all areas of managing the volleyball program

including, but not limited to:

1. Understand and comply with all NJCAA, FSCAA and Sun-Lakes
   Conference policies, rules, regulations, and operational procedures.
   
2. Assisting the organization and direction of day-to-day operations.
   
3. Coaching and training of current student-athletes.
   
4. Conducts preseason, in-season, and post-season workouts.
   
5. Recruiting student-athletes in state and out of state. This includes
   extensive travel all over Florida and the United State.
   
6. Assist with practice set up and take down, film breakdown and video
   sessions, practice planning and organization, team travel and operations.
   
7. Supervising student-athletes academic progress to help them be on track
   for graduating.
   
8. Aiding in fundraising events, community service projects, and summer
   camps
   

Marginal Job Functions

Promote SJR State College athletics internally and externally.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Knowledge of Indoor and Beach Volleyball.
   
2. Good communication skills for recruiting purposes.
   
3. Maintain a valid Florida Driver License.
   

Other Ergonomic Requirements

This position is a physically demanding job. Must be able to perform essential job duties.

Qualification Standards

1. Education – Bachelor’s Degree, preferred. High School diploma required.
   
2. Experience – Prior coaching or playing experience required. A comparable amount of
   training or playing experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
