Wiley University is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Volleyball Coach for the upcoming academic season. Responsibilities:

1. Assist Head Coach: Collaborate with the head coach in all aspects of the volleyball program, including but not limited to planning and conducting practices, game strategy development, player evaluation, and recruitment efforts.

2. Player Development: Provide hands-on instruction to enhance the skills and performance of student-athletes, focusing on technical proficiency, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental preparation.

3. Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process by identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes, maintaining communication with recruits and their families, organizing campus visits, and attending recruitment events as needed.

4. Academic Support: Monitor the academic progress and well-being of student-athletes, promoting a culture of academic success and providing guidance and support when necessary.

5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all NAIA, GCAC, and institutional rules and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation related to eligibility, scholarships, and recruiting activities.

6. Game Day Responsibilities: Assist in game day operations, including but not limited to pre-game preparation, in-game coaching, and post-game analysis, as well as travel logistics for away games.

7. Community Engagement: Act as a positive representative of Wiley University and the volleyball program within the campus community and the broader community, participating in outreach activities and fostering relationships with alumni, fans, and local stakeholders.
