Position Information
Assistant Volleyball Coach
The Assistant Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Volleyball Coach with all facets of the program; to include organization, development, and leadership of a highly competitive Division Il volleyball program in support of the mission and core values of Tuskegee University.
Demonstrate effective teaching/coaching methods to improve team performances.
Assist with game/practice preparations and planning.
Assist with the recruitment and development of student-athletes
Maintain current knowledge and adhere to all College,
NCAA
and Conference Rules and Regulations.
Academic monitoring to ensure that student-athletes meet eligibility requirements.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Three or more years of coaching experience at a high school or collegiate level.
Must have knowledge of
NCAA
rules.
This position will be required to work nights and weekends. This position may involve frequent bending, moving, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds; some positions may involve moving,lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 70 pounds. This position requires standing four hours each day; working in all weather conditions. exposure to high noise levels. Additional physical demands include, but not limited to physical involvement in all practices and workouts with players.
