The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is one of the premier Division I schools in the country and one of four Division I schools in the state of Wisconsin. Currently,

offers 15 sports at the
NCAA
Division I level, with more than 300 student-athletes in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, women’s volleyball, women’s tennis, and baseball.
Under the direction of the Head Coach and in accordance with all
NCAA
, Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations, the Assistant Volleyball Coach will assist in the recruitment of student-athletes; practice and game planning; player skill development; scouting of opponents; community relations; office management and promotional activities. In addition, other duties as assigned.
The Assistant Volleyball Coach shall know, recognize and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing University and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“
NCAA
”) and the applicable Conference, as now constituted or as they may be amended during the Term of this agreement. Employee shall take all reasonable steps to endeavor to ensure that all assistant coaches, and any other employees for whom Employee is administratively responsible, comply with aforesaid policies, rules, and regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
At least three (3) years coaching experience at the Division I collegiate level
Master’s Degree
Demonstrated Practice Planning Experience
Demonstrated experience evaluating potential recruits
Demonstrated Athlete Skill Development
Experience analyzing opponent game footage and/or player scouting reports
Evidence of an understanding of
NCAA
Rules
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population
Salary will be commensurate with experience
