Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Athletics, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Volleyball Coach. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach with all phases of a Division 1 intercollegiate volleyball, both indoor and beach programs, including instruction and training of student-athletes in on-court/field operations, physical and mental player development, motivation, mentorship, instilling disciplines and development technical skills through quality practice and excellent communication.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
A minimum of one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above
Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an accredited university.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division 1 Athletics

Strong Attention to Detail
Highly organized and multi-task oriented
Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills
