Louisiana Tech University is seeking candidates for Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience and a working knowledge of Conference USA and NCAA regulations are preferred. It is also preferred that the candidate have experience in recruiting and coaching at the Division I level. Candidate must have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to athletic and academic success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the Head Basketball Coach in the day-to-day operations of a Division I program; ensure that the Basketball program demonstrates a commitment to academics and to maintain compliance with NCAA, C-USA, Louisiana Tech University, and State of Louisiana rules and regulations; recruit student-athletes for Louisiana Tech University; promote Tech Athletics through functions and events; and perform additional duties as assigned by the University.
