Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking two highly motivated, dedicated professionals for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.
Bradley is a long-standing MVC member with top-notch facilities including a 4,500-seat arena dedicated to women’s basketball and volleyball with an adjoining basketball practice facility.
The position is a full-time, twelve-month position and will assist with the administration of all aspects of a Division I women’s basketball program including: recruiting, game and practice preparation, player development, on-court coaching, scouting and other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.
A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience is required, preferably at the NCAA Division I level. The successful candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; the ability to recruit prospective student athletes; proficiency and in-depth knowledge of the game of basketball; a commitment to excellence, sensitivity to cultural differences and a commitment to the mission and values of Bradley Athletics. The position requires significant travel. Proficiency with computer applications, general office software and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required. CPR Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
