Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach

Washington College in Chestertown, MD, a NCAA Division III member of the Centennial Conference, seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. Expected salary range is $30,000 to $31,000 annually.

Essential Functions:

• Assists Head Coach to organize/conduct practice sessions and game preparations
• Identify, recruit, coach and develop high-level athletes for the program
• Organize official and unofficial visits
• Assist the head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring, fundraising, game management and scheduling; and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required along with past competitive and/or coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
  
• Valid driver’s license required as travel is necessary for the position.
• Strong organizational, oral, written, teaching and computer skills required. Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred.
