Carries out scouting assignments as outlined by the Head Coach
Provide student-athletes the necessary time and resources to succeed academically
Promotes the sport on and off campus
Maintains good relationship with alumnus, parents, officials, volunteers and fans
Performs other duties as requested by the Head Coach
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Update Coaches Recruiting Report
Help process credit card statements and check requisitions in a timely manner
Maintain practice and game facility as applicable
Develop gameday itineraries, secure lodging, and plan meals for all team travel dates
Provide travel information for faculty
Supervision:
Will supervise student athletes and may supervise student workers
Requirements
Associate degree
2+ years previous coaching experience in assigned sport
Recruiting experience preferred
Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories pertinent to the field
Ability to work in a team setting and work effectively with a variety of audiences and departments
Understanding of student development
Ability to balance student needs and take on an institutional perspective
Letter of Assignment (LOA) begins July 1, 2026. Early start opportunity available with stipend-based compensation prior to start of LOA.
