Job Description

Job Summary
 Preparing athletes for practices and games. Assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach with all related activities.

Essential Job Functions

1. Attend practices and supply the team with equipment and supplies.
2. Prepare athletes for practices and games.
3. Assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach with the basketball program.  Including preparing for practice, practicing, assessing practices, and preparing for games.
4. Recruit student-athletes with direction from the head coach.
5. Conduct study halls as needed.
6. Review the academic progress of the team members.
7. Act as a liaison between the Financial Aid Office and the Women’s Basketball Department.
8. Maintain confidentiality in all information.
9. Assist in after-hour activities as needed.
10. Perform additional duties as the Athletic Director may assign.
11. Maintain an acceptable attendance record, be punctual, and meet deadlines.
12. Attend staff meetings.
13. Seek training to enhance or learn new skills.

Individuals must possess such knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Education and Experience

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education, training, or experience that fulfills the needs of the College.

3. Possess a valid chauffeur’s license.  
4. Knowledge of administrative procedures. 
5. Possess record-keeping skills.
