Job Summary

Execute all responsibilities as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in a manner that reflects an ongoing commitment to the excellence, integrity and success of the program, Department of Athletics and Albany State University.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and organizing daily practice sessions, game preparation for championship and non-championship segments.

Assist with organizing and administrating the recruiting of prospective student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA, SIAC, University System of Georgia and Albany State University policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and organizing daily practice sessions, game preparation for championship and non-championship segments.

Assist with organizing and administrating the recruiting of prospective student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA, SIAC, University System of Georgia and Albany State University policies and procedures

Assist with the supervision and evaluation of interns, graduate assistants, and manager and/or work study students.

Assist with carrying out the goals and objectives of the program.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors

Two years coaching or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters

Five years coaching or related experience.

Proposed Salary

Salary Range is from $29,59 to $40,000

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Have knowledge of the various aspects of running a college basketball program.

Have the skills to recruit high caliber student-athletes and coach the fundamentals of basketball.

Conditions of Employment
