Position Information

Minot State University is seeking candidates for a full-time Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Minot State University is a proud member of NCAA DII and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Under the direct supervision of the Head Women's BasketballCoach, the Assistant Coach has the responsibility of carrying out all duties assigned by the Head Women's BasketballCoach as they relate to the administration of the sport and to always work in the best interest of the program, the Athletic Department, and the University.

Position Description & Details

  1. Assist in development ofa competitivewomen’s basketballprogram that will represent the institution and community in a positive manner.

  2. Work with Associate director of Athleticsfor Compliance and Student Life to ensure all players meet applicable eligibility requirements and prepare all necessary forms on a timely basis.

  3. Assist in development ofpractice and competition schedule.

  4. Assist in conducting productive and meaningful practice sessions.

  5. Assist in makingtravel arrangements for team and recruiting.

  6. Conduct fundraising activities to supplement program budget.

  7. Conduct and direct instructional campsfor area youth.
