Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions: (indicate percentage of time in right column – total time must add to 100%)
| In conjunction with the Head Coach, plans and executes a successful program that would include duties such as: conducting regular team practice sessions; coaching the student athletes, evaluating athletes performance in practice and competition; monitoring the conditioning and training of student athletes, advises and counsels student athletes regarding their obligations to comply with all rules and regulations related to financial aid and eligibility, as well as personal conduct and academics.

| Assist in practice and game logistical operations, including, but not limited to, camera operation, A/V set-up, management of equipment, filming of games and practices, video editing/breakdowns, film exchange, special team video and projects. Create, file and organize a database of film, practice information, game analytics, recruiting information and any other relevant technology data.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: (indicate required or preferred)
| Bachelor’s degree required.
| Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. |

Years of Experience – (required or preferred number of years and in which specific areas)
| Relevant experience in video and technology operations at the collegiate or professional level.

Certification and/or Licensure
| First Aid, CPR, AED Required (or willingness to obtain).
|
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
| Proficiency with Synergy Sports Technology, Hudl, DVSports, FastModel Sports and/or comparable sports software systems
Ability to act with honesty and sportsmanship at all times so that intercollegiate athletics as a whole, the university and they as individuals, represent the honor and dignity of fair play and the generally recognized high standards associated with wholesome competitive sports.
Solid knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Ability to handle highly confidential material and maintain strict confidence.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures and have knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the swimming and diving program.
Skilled in exemplary customer service, including dealing effectively with the students, faculty, staff, and general public both in person and over the telephone.
Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with all staff and other customers and possess the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and sensitivity to the needs of all prospective as well as current students.
Excellent writing skills and the demonstrated ability to develop written reports and action plans. Good organizational, oral and recruiting skills.
Ability to work effectively, decisively and flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to identify problems and to propose feasible solutions.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn applicable sports-related technology.
Ability to travel with the team and monitors the conduct of student athletes.
Ability to accept and provide effective supervision, assignments, change and correction.
