Responsible to assist with the management of a competitive NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse program; assists with conditioning, practices, coaching, recruiting, travel arrangements, ordering of equipment and gear, and supervising student managers. This position works primarily with the defense and goalies.
In conjunction with the Head Coach, plans and executes a successful program that would include duties such as: conducting regular team and individual practice sessions; coaching the student athletes, evaluating athletes performance in practice and competition; monitoring the conditioning and training of student athletes, advises and counsels student athletes regarding their obligations to comply with all rules and regulations related to financial aid and eligibility, as well as personal conduct and academics.

Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s Preferred.
Prior coaching experience at the college or club sports level or as a collegiate athlete.
Certification and/or Licensure

Ability to successfully recruit and retain student athletes.

Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with all staff and other customers and possess the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and sensitivity to the needs of all prospective as well as current students.
Excellent writing skills and the demonstrated ability to develop written reports and action plans. Good organizational, oral and recruiting skills.
