American International College (AIC) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for the position of Part-Time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. AIC is a proud member of the NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference. This position assists the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including student-athlete development, recruitment, tactical preparation, and administrative duties, while ensuring the program operates in alignment with the college’s mission of holistic student success.

American International College (AIC) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for the position of Part-Time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. AIC is a proud member of the NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference. This position assists the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including student-athlete development, recruitment, tactical preparation, and administrative duties, while ensuring the program operates in alignment with the college’s mission of holistic student success.
Assist in the planning and execution of daily practices, with a focus on high-tempo, skill-specific drills.
Provide specialized coaching to specific position groups (e.g., Goalkeepers, Defense, or Draw Control) as designated by the Head Coach.
Analyze game film (utilizing platforms such as Hudl) to provide feedback to student-athletes and develop scouting reports for NE-10 opponents.
Assist in game-day management, including sideline strategy, substitution box management, and half-time adjustments.
Identify, evaluate, and recruit high-caliber student-athletes who fit the academic and athletic profile of AIC.
Attend major recruiting showcases and tournaments throughout the summer and fall.
Assist in coordinating on-campus visits, including meetings with Admissions and tours of the Springfield campus.
Maintain the recruiting database and ensure all outreach is in compliance with NCAA Division II regulations.
Assist with team travel logistics, including meal planning, transportation, and lodging for away contests.
Monitor student-athlete academic progress, ensuring the team maintains a high standard of academic excellence and utilizes campus resources.
Ensure strict adherence to all NCAA, NE-10, and AIC rules and regulations.
Assist with social media management and community service initiatives to enhance the program’s visibility.
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture centered on the "Yellow Jacket" spirit of grit and determination.
Serve as a mentor to student-athletes, prioritizing their mental health, well-being, and professional development.
Competitive Excellence: The NE-10 is a national powerhouse. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to coach at a high tactical level to compete against top-ranked programs.
Holistic Balance: Support the D2 philosophy of balancing rigorous academics, high-level athletics, and community engagement.
Recruiting Tenacity: Ability to recruit both regionally (New England/Tri-State) and nationally to maintain a competitive roster.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Previous collegiate playing or coaching experience is strongly preferred. High school or club coaching experience will be considered.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in lacrosse film analysis software and social media platforms.
Requirements: A valid driver's license and the ability to pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam upon hire.
Availability: Must be able to work a non-traditional schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during the season.
