Summary

Washington & Jefferson College is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach (Part-time). The Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach supports the head coach in managing a successful NCAA Division III women's lacrosse program. The Assistant Coach helps conduct practice drills and skill development and implements game strategy. Additionally, the assistant coach assists with recruitment and team on-boarding processes. The Assistant Coach is expected to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the collegiate coaching profession and is expected to annually review any rule changes relative to the sport.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Coach helps plan and implement the in-season and off-season training schedule for women's lacrosse student athletes. In addition, helps formulate daily practice and weekly game practice plans.

Qualifications

The Assistant Coach is expected to be knowledgeable about local, state and NCAA Division III regulations regarding recruiting and helps cultivate a network that identifies prospects that match the academic and athletic profile of Washington & Jefferson College.
