Job Description
The Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics Department (PERA) is seeking an individual with experience in working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will by their administrative, professional skills, leadership and service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. PERA is currently accepting applications for a part time (.25 FTE/February-May) appointment as Assistant Coach of Women’s Lacrosse-Positional. This part-time faculty position is not benefits eligible.
Lacrosse Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the program; including the planning and execution of successful and challenging practices, coaching during the traditional season, positional player development, game preparation, evaluation of prospective student athletes and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required and 1-3 years of work related experience. The successful candidate must have collegiate playing experience, leadership skills, role modeling, organizational, and interpersonal skills and have an understanding of NCAA Division III regulations. FA/CPR/AED, a valid driver’s license and a full background check are required.
Salary: The Assistant Lacrosse Coach-Positional is a part time, non-benefits eligible faculty position that includes a salary of $3926.
Start Date: Start date is February 1, 2025.
