Join the 18-time Learfield Director’s Cup Winning Laker Athletics Department anchored in the relentless pursuit of greatness. The Assistant Women’s Lacrosse coach is responsible for all phases of the program including organization and administration, quality student-athlete recruitment, fiscal management, viable fundraising, public relations and on the field coaching along with other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.

Salary & Benefits

$45,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, generous retirement contributions, wellness resources and tuition waiver effective on start of hire.

Primary Duties

  • Instruct and lead a positional group on the women’s lacrosse team in their skill development, team strategies, and scouting.

  • Assist in the recruitment of student-athletes including evaluating at tournaments, communication to recruits, and the planning in official and unofficial visits.

  • Assist in the creation of team activities including team bonding events, team leadership workshops, and community service.

  • Camp/Clinic Coordinator

  • Coordinate with GVSU support staff including facilities, academic advisors, strength and conditioning coaches, and exercise science staff.

  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
