The mission of the NC State University Department of Athletics is to prepare student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to inspire them to be leaders now and for the future by providing the best environment to achieve their athletic, academic, and personal aspirations as well as providing support for the professional development of our coaches and staff, all within the role of the greater institutional relationships to the University. This position will serve as Associate Head Coach of the Division 1 Women’s Soccer Team at NC State University that competes within the
ACC
and
NCAA
.
Serve as Assistant Coach of Division 1 Women’s Soccer Team. This position will assist in the overseeing and managing all aspects of the Women’s Soccer Program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Promoting the philosophy and objectives of the North Carolina State intercollegiate athletics program.
Embracing the Athletics Department’s strategic plan and executing it with unmitigated resolve, while being compliant with all
NCAA
and
ACC
rules.
Assisting with the scouting and recruitment of student-athletes, to include assisting with on-campus visits of prospective student-athletes.
Assisting in coaching student-athletes and evaluating their performance in practice and competition.
Monitoring the conditioning and training of student-athletes.
Assisting in monitoring the academic progress and eligibility status of student-athletes.
Maintaining statistics; interfacing with officials.
Participating in public relations activities, as approved.
Assisting with budget preparations and operating within approved budget allocations.
Handling travel arrangements as assigned.
Participating in clinics, exhibitions and camps, as approved.
Attending appropriate coaches meetings.
Other duties as assigned by Head Coach and Athletic Administration.
Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor’s degree

| Other Required Qualifications |
- Minimum of two years as a Collegiate Women’s Soccer Assistant or Head Coach with demonstrated success and proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of NCAA bylaws
- Dedication to the success of student-athletes in their academic and athletic endeavors
- Commitment to integrity

- Prior Division 1 Level and/or goalkeeper coaching preferred
