General Function:
Andrew College is seeking an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach to help administer all areas related to a highly competitive
soccer program. The Assistant Women’s soccer coaches responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of the
soccer program, including but not limited to, training session organization, game preparation, recruitment, scouting, team
travel, fundraising, special events, and academic monitoring. The successful candidate must adhere to all NJCAA, Georgia

Collegiate Athletic Association, and Andrew College policies. The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach must understand the
dynamics of a small college setting and have the ability to take on several tasks outside the coaching arena towards success for
the Athletic Department and Andrew College as a whole.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fulfill the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the Andrew College department of athletics as it pertains to the
  

Women’s Soccer program.

• Help maintain the soccer field including cutting of grass and all aspects of maintenance
  
• Recruit quality student-athletes
  
• Help develop and supervise practices, game planning, schedule arrangements, and off season training.
  

- Maintain high academic standards for student-athletes

- Meet NJCAA and GCAA compliance guidelines and regulations

Strong disciplined skills and consistency with communication and structure required
- Good driving record with ability to drive Andrew College vans and recruiting vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Athletic Director

Interact and develop healthy relationships with other Andrew College departments

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to lift and/or move heavy items. You will also be
  

required to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. However, consideration will be given to those candidates with an equivalent combination of
education, experience, and training. Previous head or assistant collegiate level coaching experience preferred. A valid driver’s
license is required.
