Position Summary

The primary duty of the assistant coach is to instruct student-athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport. Additionally, the assistant coach will assist with all aspects of a

NCAA

Division I Women’s program, including aiding with recruiting, coordinating day-to-day operations, conducting practice sessions, coordinating travel arrangements, handling appropriate compliance paperwork, camp/clinic/tournament implementation, community outreach, and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience that equates to four years

Collegiate or high-level club women’s soccer coaching experience

Experience coaching outfield players

Experience planning travel for a team

Knowledge of

NCAA

rules and regulations and a record of compliance with such

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Positive interpersonal skills

Strong work ethic

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree

National level soccer coaching license/certification

An established applicable recruiting network

Experience with clinic/camp implementation

Experience working in

ARMS

Experience ordering equipment
