Essential Job Functions

Coaching & Player Development:

  • Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and executing daily practices, focusing on skill development, team tactics, and physical conditioning.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction to enhance player performance.
  • Help with in-game coaching, strategy adjustments, and substitutions.
  • Foster a positive and competitive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, and a strong work ethic.

Recruiting:

  • Identify and evaluate prospective student-athletes who meet the academic and athletic standards of AIC.
  • Assist with communication and correspondence with recruits, their families, and high school/club coaches.
  • Attend recruiting events, tournaments, and showcases as assigned.
