Apply NowThe Iowa State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. This position will work under the direction of the Head Coach to assist in the daily operations and administrative functions for the Division I program with a commitment to adhering to university, Big 12 Conference and NCAA policies.
This position requires strong knowledge of soccer, an excellent work ethic along with exceptional motivational, teaching/coaching and communication skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Requires the ability to travel extensively including overnight stays for recruiting and competitions.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience coaching or competing in soccer at a highly competitive level (post high school).
Preferred Qualifications:
NCAA head soccer coaching or NCAA Division I assistant coaching experience.
NCAA or professional soccer experience as an athlete.
Demonstrated ability to recruit highly skilled student-athletes and strong recruiting connections.
Experience developing student athletes both on- and off-field.
