Work under the direction of the head coach and assist with the administration of a successful
NCAA
Division I women’s volleyball program. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to work collaboratively in a group environment and maintain professional decorum as a representative of the University.
Assist the head coach with coaching of student-athletes during practices, skill training and matches.
Assist in the recruitment of athletes for the women’s volleyball program.
Coordinate annual recruiting strategy by selecting events to attend on a national scale.
Help to determine which coaching staff member should attend events.
Create official and unofficial visit itineraries.
Maintain communication with prospective student-athletes with intention of bringing the best choices to
UTA
.
Assist in monitoring the academic progress of each student-athlete participating in the volleyball program
Evaluate opponent match video for game plan preparation coordinate practices on the road, and for visitors to practice in our facility.
Assist with team travel planning, equipment, social media, and other roles as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree with four (4) years of experience coaching volleyball or combination of
NCAA
Division I playing experience and coaching volleyball.
Two (2) years of experience coaching volleyball at the collegiate level.
Office setting, flexible and extended hours, nights, weekends, holidays in addition to normal operating hours.
Must be able to work collaboratively in a group environment and maintain professional decorum as a representative of the University.
Excellent communication skills. Knowledgeable of and assure compliance with all applicable
