Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach

. Coastal Carolina is a

NCAA

Division I Institution and a member of the Sun Belt Conference.

Duties

include, but are not limited to: assisting with overall development of indoor volleyball program; arranging the team travel; coordinating travel for official visits and evaluations, itineraries, correspondence and phone calls with recruits; assisting with organizing and planning of practices and game strategies; participating in team practices and running on-court drills; assist with game film breakdown; assisting in the direct supervision of all student-athletes that participate in the women’s volleyball program; providing leadership and instruction in a student-athlete’s personal and athletic development, to include counseling in academic, disciplinary, and personal matter, when appropriate and performing other duties as assigned by head coach.

Requirements

: A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree, collegiate or professional volleyball coaching experience and previous recruiting and scouting experience are preferred. Additionally, a successful candidate should possess knowledge of the game of volleyball including techniques, strategies, and rules; the ability to teach fundamental volleyball skills; knowledge of

NCAA

rules; excellent computer (Microsoft Excel) and communication skills; unquestioned integrity and trustworthiness; strong organizational and leadership skills; the ability to work with diversified group and the willingness to work extended hours.
